M-Net share scheme on

M--NET/Supersport this week launched the Phuthuma 2 share scheme, which gives blacks and black organisations the opportunity to own shares in the electronics and sports group, writes THABO KOBOKOANE.

The offer, which will involve selling 28-million M-Net/Supersport linked shares representing 10% of the issued equity, will be worth R112-million.

The shares are R4 each and participants are expected to pay a 10% deposit of the overall cost of the required shares with the balance payable in April 2001. The offer runs until April 3.
