 Affordable HousingAFTER many hiccups, the delivery of low-cost housing has been
gaining momentum, but whether this will be sufficient to meet the
government's promise of building one million homes by 1999 remains
questionable. Though the provision of low-cost housing has picked up over the past
year the government still needs to shift a gear if it is to meet its
pre-election promises. We survey the pace of its
delivery.
