SA's best business read comes in a new package

WELCOME to an expanded Business Times. This week the newspaper introduces a third section - Business Times Appointments - to provide readers and advertisers with improved access to the country's best job ads. The ads are thus no longer spread throughout Business Times.

The first two sections of Business Times remain mostly unchanged, apart from providing what we believe is a much more accessible product. The major change is the placing of our surveys in the Money section. This week's five-page survey on the cellular telephone industry follows the market pages.

The second section ends with a new feature - a health-care section edited by Sunday Times consumer editor Pat Sidley. It covers public and private health care, public health care policy and how you are affected.

The popular crossword remains on the inside back page of the Money section, while Business Times continues to provide the best business coverage in the country.

  • We also offer a number of new features on our Web site at <www.btimes.co.za>. If you move to the E-mail on the site you will find a Q&A report on some of the more basic questions you have about the site. Also have a look at our one-on-one interview with Bill Gates and try some of the many features to improve the management of your finances.
